How can you prepare for the hearing assessment?

• Make note of different environments or situations where hearing difficulty was encountered.
• If possible, to bring your significant other or friend.
• If considering possibility of using hearing aids, consulting with your private health insurance company regarding their contribution towards the cost would enable you to decide your budget.

What to expect during the hearing assessment?

• Our audiologists will investigate your ear health by discussing your concerns.
• Appropriate testing will be done to assess your hearing ability.
• Counselling to make best use of your hearing either through communication strategies, assistive listening devices or hearing aids.
• When medical attention or treatment is required, we will refer you to see your GP or Ear Nose and Throat Specialist.
